Best in Pacific Beach 2bedroom+loft

Laura was amazing with communication and responded quickly when I had a question. We came with our 4 children (ages 5-12) during a heat wave so it was hot. Had a lot of fans that helped with the lack of AC but we ended up grabbing a couple box fans to put in the windows because we are not used to humidity and heat like this, being from Arizona. Otherwise the apartment was really clean and beautiful, the location is close to the beach but wasn’t walkable for our family. Would definitely stay again!

Overall, this is a lovely place to stay. It is in a great location and a nice apartment. My one caveat is that there isn’t air conditioning. This wouldn’t be a problem most months. But it was very hot and stuffy in August, when we visited. Two of my family members were very uncomfortable. I would also reiterate that the loft area isn’t a space that everyone will feel comfortable using. As the listing notes, it is a steep climb, and most parents won’t feel comfortable having small children there. Not everyone will care about the air conditioning or loft. Just providing input in case it is helpful for decision making.

Clean, felt safe, had everything we needed. No A/C but plenty of fans. Comfy blankets, plenty of sleeping and lounging!

This property was amazing! Laura was a dream to work with, and provided regular check-ins before and during our stay. I stayed with my husband, and two children, ages 10 and 11, and we had an amazing week exploring Pacific Beach, San Diego, and La Jolla. We will definitely be using this rental for our next trip to San Diego!

Perfect central location. Unit comes with plenty of equipment for the beach including a cooler, chairs, boogie boards, toys and a large umbrella. I would definitely book again next time I am in San Diego. Communication with the host could not have been easier. Try the pacific beach fish shop for lunch/dinner - just a short walk from the condo. Note that laundry hours are limited to minimize noise early and late in the day so plan ahead.
